On the day that Rove's lawyer, Luskin, announces that Fitzgerald doesn't plan to bring charges against him, Bush suddenly leaves the country on a surprise visit to Iraq.
Coincidence…or did Bush decide to flee the vicinity of a seriously pissed off Cheney? Rove not being indicted means he agreed to talk about someone higher and the only ones higher are Cheney and Bush.
Maybe hanging out in Iraq looked better than staying around someone who's already shot one guy in the face.

We got back from Florida Saturday evening. My whole family was along, 8 of us. I found out that I'm allergic to whatever nastiness they are putting in aerosols now. I had gotten some spray on sun tan lotion stuff. A couple of hours after using it, I got a migraine so bad I was kind of hoping to die…well maybe just a little bit of a coma.
After recovering from that, the rest of the vacation was really great. We had 2 condos right on the beach. We were pretty close to the port and got to see container ships coming and going fairly regularly too. It was very relaxing without being too taxing.
Next year, my folks are talking about going to Boston. I've requested a western trip, maybe in 2 years we'll be in CA and can see ya'll.
